Mktg Department — Job Description

Mission: Own SDC brand awareness, content distribution, and advisor acquisition. F.A.S.T. principles (Fast, Adaptive, Simple, Tailored) are the design constraint — see F.A.S.T.. Sub-depts: Content\, Viral-Growth\.

  1. Distribution channels — Centres of Influence, lead magnets, email strategy (Email Naming Strategy.md).
  2. Affiliate / finders’-fee mechanics — the revenue-generating half of MBR\Mktg\Affiliate-Mechanics.md, adapted for advisor referrals (compliance guardrails live in SDC\Risks\, not here).
  3. Content (Content\) — editorial calendar, production, soundbites to long-form.
  4. Viral-Growth (Viral-Growth\) — referral mechanics and growth loops aligned with the Cancer50Pledge win-win-win model, adapted from MBR’s consumer-facing concept to advisor-facing variants.
  • Brand positioning / ICP definition → SDC\Strategy\
  • Offering pricing → SDC\Offerings\
  • Compliance review of marketing claims → SDC\Risks\ (gates release; flagged BY Mktg, owned BY Risks + Strategy)
  • Core\CONSTITUTION.md — operating principles
  • SDC\Strategy\Identity\ — voice/ICP
  • SDC\Offerings\ — what’s being marketed
  • Campaign briefs derived from Strategy OKRs
  • Content calendar
  • Referral/growth-loop designs
  • Alone: channel selection, content calendar, campaign execution within approved positioning.
  • Escalate to CEO: new channel commitment, any claim about returns/rates/outcomes (also gated by Risks).
  • → Risks (compliance signoff on any claim)
  • → Strategy (positioning conflicts)
  • → IT (landing pages, tracking)
  • SVP-Mktg — same person as Core/Mktg and MBR/Mktg, not a separate SDC-only persona. Staff file: SVP-Mktg (wrapper role — reads this JD when the task lives in SDC/Mktg/Tasks/, autonomy and decision authority per this JD’s own Decisions section above, not Core Mktg’s).
  • WealthCare50-style corporate/CSR alliance channel — parked, weak fit for advisor-first B2B model; revisit only if a B2C-adjacent channel returns
