LESSONS.md and UPGRADES.md stay live in this folder — not code-project status, still current.

Resolved 2026-08-29: DESIGN.md’s UI/UX decisions (80/20 core-inputs, progressive UX, simplified inputs/outputs) now live in the vault at Design-Principles §§2-4 and Design — Apps, per the boundary rule in Design — they are judgment content, not build-read content, so they stay vault-side rather than folding into packages/sd-app/docs/. App-surface mechanics (token consumption, theme wiring) still go repo-side. Source: ai-config-design-ssot.
